It would be an exciting surprise, for everyone but mom and dad, as they welcomed their 5th beautiful child. After 4 lovely girls, I am sure dad was excited to finally have his little slugger! I had been anticipating Salem’s arrival for months, ever since our beach maternity session. It was definitely a chilly day back in October, but you wouldn’t have guessed it from the beautiful moments we captured.

I was delighted to have the assistance of my coop student Brittany for Salem’s newborn session. He sure was not feelin’ nap time for long, nor cared for being posed in any baskets. I would have LOVED to have him in studio longer if it weren’t for one of his poor big Sissy being sick and along for the ride. I do hope she kicked the flu bug quickly, as I am sure we are ALL ready for Spring!!
